Does SCSI2SD work with samplers ?
There are compatibility issues with some samplers. Akai samplers and the Ensoniq ASR-X cannot find SCSI2SD on the SCSI bus. I have purchased an Akai sampler and expect to resolve this issue in the near future.
SCSI2SD does work well with the Roland JS-30 sampler.
Thanks to Carl at Precious Sound for putting in the time to test SCSI2SD.
Does SCSI2SD support 256 bytes-per-sector ? More than 512 bytes-per-sector
No, not at the current time.
I am currently working on firmware updates to support odd sector sizes.
